Ned Gartside

Ned Gartside is the Sustainable Design Lead on the Digital Sustainability team at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, where they focus on developing materials and tools for greener government services. They have held various roles in service design, including as a Service Designer at Capita and Tata Consultancy Services. Previously, Ned worked as a Freelance Experience Designer, an Educational Consultant, and a UX Designer for educational startups, showcasing a strong background in user-centered design and educational support. Ned has also contributed to initiatives like Conception X and SowCrop, emphasizing their commitment to sustainability and innovative design. They hold a BA in History from the University of Southampton and a Master's degree from the University of Oxford.
