Mauricio Machicado

Mauricio Machicado has been in the tech industry since 2011. Mauricio began their career as a Web Development & Network Consultant at American Technology Services, Inc. in 2011. In 2012, they became a Company Representative for South America (Ecuador) at Duolingo. In 2013, they worked as a Web Developer at forwardesigns. In 2014, they worked as a Teacher/Systems Admin at Liceo Internacional. In 2016, they joined ThoughtWorks as a Developer Consultant. That same year, they also began working at Deft Consulting (Appian Partner) as a Director of Professional Services and an Appian Delivery Lead for LATAM. In these roles, they have knowledge and development experience in Appian 16.x and 17.x, and has advised on Appian Best Practices. Mauricio has also analyzed business requirements and effectively managed risks, impacts, and client expectations. Mauricio has produced extremely high quality deliverables, quickly and effectively, in order to meet aggressive timelines, and is trained and experienced in utilizing Agile Scrum Methodology to iteratively and rapidly produce results.

Mauricio Machicado holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Carnegie Mellon University. Mauricio also has two certifications from Appian Corporation, the Appian Analyst Credential and the Appian Designer Credential.
