Rich Douros has extensive work experience in sales and account management, with a focus on the technology and security sector. Rich is currently serving as the VP Sales - West at Defy Security, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they were the Regional Sales Manager at Defy Security from March 2021 to January 2022.

Before joining Defy Security, Rich held various roles at Optiv Inc. from 2008 to 2021. Rich'spositions at Optiv Inc. included Regional Director from December 2019 to March 2021, Global Client Director from January 2016 to December 2019, Global Account Manager from January 2013 to December 2015, and Named Account Manager from October 2008 to December 2012.

Rich Douros has a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Chico. Rich also attended San Ramon Valley High School but did not receive a degree from there. In addition to their formal education, Rich has obtained certifications in Command of the Message from Force Management, Conceptual Selling from Miller Heiman Group, Crucial Conversations from Crucial Conversations Management Consulting, MEDDICC from Force Management, Strategic Selling from Miller Heiman Group, and Value Negotiation from Force Management.
