Benjamin Terry

Benjamin Terry is a designer at Degenkolb Engineers since March 2022, with a robust background in engineering education and practical experience. Benjamin served as a graduate research and teaching assistant at the University of Washington from September 2020 to September 2022, focusing on dynamic instabilities in marine turbines and managing lab sections for introductory engineering courses. Prior to this, Benjamin interned at Boeing in the summer of 2020, participated in earthquake engineering research in 2019, and contributed to traffic engineering efforts for the City of Bellevue from 2018 to 2019. Benjamin holds both a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington. Additionally, Benjamin has a history of leadership as a senior instructor at True Martial Arts from 2010 to 2016.
