In 2006, they worked as a Graduate Student Intern at IBM. Shashi Kiran then joined Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Graduate Research Associate in 2008. Later, they worked at the University of Arizona as a Graduate Research Assistant and then as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, focusing on coding theory and analysis. In 2010, they joined Marvell Semiconductor as a Senior DSP Engineer and gradually moved up to positions such as Staff Engineer, Senior Staff Engineer & Manager, and Director of System Architecture. At Marvell, they were involved in research and development of data path architecture, investigation of advanced error correction codes, and intellectual property generation. Shashi Kiran currently works at DeGirum Corp. as the Chief Architect.
