Wade Eyerly

Wade Eyerly has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Wade started their career as a Media Tracking Account Executive at Federal News Service in 2002. Wade then joined the Bush-Cheney '04 campaign as VP Press Advance, where they managed press activities for Vice President Dick Cheney.

After the campaign, Wade joined the International Economic Alliance (IEA) as the Director of Membership and Corporate Partnerships. Wade was responsible for sales and managing relationships with strategic partners.

In 2007, Wade began their tenure at the United States Department of Defense, where they held multiple roles including economist focused on Europe/NATO, conducting strategic debriefings, and serving as a liaison to the Law Enforcement community. Wade deployed to Iraq during this time and received recognition for their service.

In 2011, Wade worked as a Senior Business Consultant at Summit Solutions, LLC, where they led process improvement projects. Wade then developed and co-founded Surf Air, an all-you-can-fly subscription airline, in 2012. Wade led the company through fundraising rounds and revenue growth, while maintaining a high Net Promoter Score.

Wade later joined OfferBoard as Co-CEO and Advisor in 2014, where they played a pivotal role in restructuring and implementing innovative products. Wade also co-founded and served as CEO of Beacon, an aviation company providing subscription flying services without aircraft ownership. Although the company ultimately failed, the model was successful and led to the pivot of Surf Air.

Wade's most recent role was as the Managing Director of New Ventures at Wheels Up, starting in 2016.

In 2017, they founded Degree Insurance Co. and currently serves as the CEO.

Wade Eyerly began their education in 1996 at the University of Central Missouri, where they pursued a BA degree in International Economic Policy and Cross Cultural Relations. Wade completed this program in 2002. Following this, from 2005 to 2007, Eyerly attended Brigham Young University, earning an MPP degree in Public Policy with a focus on International Economic Development. In 2006-2007, they also obtained a Certificate in Global Management from Brigham Young University. Later, in 2011, Eyerly further enhanced their skillset by obtaining a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the Department of Defense.
