Nacho C.

Nacho C. has a diverse range of work experience in the IT industry. Nacho started their career as a System Engineer at Mickey Computers, where they set up local area networks and analyzed customer needs. Nacho then moved on to the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, where they worked as a Network and Telecommunications Engineer, monitoring air navigational systems and recommending wireless solutions. At Mickey Computers, they served as a Cloud Engineer, administering Azure services and monitoring critical applications. Nacho then joined Westown Hotels as a Cloud Operations Manager, primarily supporting infrastructure and participating in the design of a new Azure-based infrastructure. Nacho then worked at Microsoft as an Azure Engineer and later as an Azure Lead Engineer, resolving technical issues for customers and providing leadership and training to team members. At Trilogy, they worked as a DevOps Engineer, creating and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines and migrating workloads to the cloud. Currently, they are working at Deimos as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer and DevSecOps Engineer, establishing standards and processes for DevOps and leading technical direction with clients. Throughout their career, Nacho has demonstrated strong leadership qualities and a focus on automation and deployment.

Nacho C. has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt, which they obtained between 2009 and 2014. In 2019, they also obtained a Certificate in Energy Transition from IFP School.

In terms of additional certifications, Nacho C. has earned numerous credentials in various fields. In 2019, they became a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and a Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate. In 2020, they achieved the Fortinet Certified Network Security Associate (FCNSE2) certification. Nacho also holds several certifications from The Linux Foundation, including Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) in 2019, Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS) in 2019, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) in 2020, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) in 2022, and Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA) in 2022. Additionally, in 2021, they obtained the Linux Foundation Certified Engineer (LFCE) certification.
