David Fern, CWS®, has extensive experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as VP - Financial Consultant at Charles Schwab since August 2002. Previously, David held the positions of VP - Branch Manager at Northwestern Mutual from January 1998 to August 2002 and Investment Specialist at AXA Equitable in 1997. David began a career in finance as a Financial Consultant at Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP, where legal expertise was applied as an Attorney from August 1994 to January 1997. David earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of Virginia School of Law between 1991 and 1994 and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Centenary College of Louisiana from 1987 to 1991.
