Ahmad Saif

Co-Founder and C.T.O. at dejamobile

Ahmad Saif has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Ahmad began their career as an intern at Orange in 2004 and later worked as a Project Leader from 2005 to 2008. In 2009, they joined Orangelabs as a Project Manager, where they managed the technical team for the first European rollout of NFC commercial services and contributed to building the technical architecture. During this time, they also represented Orange in the GlobalPlatform Card Committee, where they worked on issuing and maintaining specifications.

In 2011, Ahmad joined Orange as an NFC and Payment Architect. In this role, they provided technical support to Orange Spain for deploying NFC services and worked with other companies to develop and maintain technical specifications for NFC. Ahmad also represented Orange in the GlobalPlatform as a member of the Card Specification Working Group and the Mobile Task Force.

In 2012, Ahmad co-founded dejamobile, where they served as C.T.O. Their work at dejamobile focused on creating solutions that allowed traditional payment card issuers to become mobile payment issuers without the need for heavy IT integration.

Throughout their career, Ahmad Saif has demonstrated expertise in NFC, payment systems, and security.

Ahmad Saif pursued their education in a structured and sequential manner. In 2000, they enrolled at ENSEEIHT, where they completed a Master's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Telecommunications. Continuing their academic journey, they attended the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2003, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
