David Cole

Director, Product Quality and Logistics at Dejero

David Cole has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. David started their career in 1988 as a Company Training Captain at Air Creebec. From 1990 to 1994, they served as a Lead Software Verification Engineer at AECL-CANDU, where they defined software development and verification methodologies.

David then joined AMD in 1994 and held multiple positions, including Applications Engineer, where they developed a strong technical relationship with Apple and grew the Apple account. David later became the Manager of Applications Engineering, providing leadership and technical oversight for a team supporting OEM customers. From 2002 to 2011, David was a Senior Manager at AMD, responsible for developing and deploying new graphics processor products, as well as providing technical support and training to customers.

In 2011, David joined Sandvine as a Senior Hardware Engineer, where they were responsible for hardware qualification activities and trained and supervised qualification engineers. David then moved to Dejero in 2013, initially serving as the Manager of Technical Support, where they grew a small team into a worldwide 24/7 technical support team. David further progressed within Dejero, taking on roles such as Program Manager, Production and NPI Manager, and Director of Product Quality and Logistics, where they successfully managed the cost, schedule, and quality requirements of various projects.

David Cole attended the University of Waterloo from 1983 to 1988, where they obtained a B.A.Sci (Eng) degree in Systems Design Engineering. During the same period, they also pursued a Self Study program and acquired an Airline Transport Pilot's Licence, specializing in Multi Engine and IFR Endorsements.
