Holger Schmidt has extensive experience in real estate fund management, currently serving as the Leiter Fondsmanagement und Vertriebsunterstützung Publikumsfonds at Deka Immobilien since September 2007. In this role, Holger Schmidt focuses on strategically managing and optimizing global real estate portfolios. Additionally, Holger Schmidt has held the position of Head of Fondsmanagement for WestInvest InterSelect, overseeing a real estate asset portfolio valued at approximately 8 billion euros. Prior to Deka Immobilien, Holger Schmidt worked at Aurelis Real Estate from September 2004 to August 2007 as Bereichsleiter Vertrieb, where responsibilities included the preparation, structuring, and execution of sales for company-owned properties in urban locations across Germany. Holger Schmidt holds a Diplom-Kaufmann degree in Business Administration from Justus Liebig University Giessen, obtained between 1990 and 1995.
