Jens Deidersen

Jens Deidersen, CFA, PRM has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Currently, they serve as the Director of Infrastructure & Export Finance at DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale since April 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Structurer and Financial Modeller (Project & Export Finance) at KfW IPEX-Bank from November 2013 to April 2022.

Before joining KfW IPEX-Bank, Jens worked at KfW as a Senior Investment Manager (Emissions Trading) from October 2010 to October 2013. Jens also has experience in the investment industry, having held positions at Allianz Global Investors as an Investment Manager (Quant, Equity, Derivatives) from August 2005 to September 2010, and as a Derivatives Trader (Equity, Fixed Income, Commodities) from March 2004 to July 2005.

Jens started their career as a Risk Management Analyst (Quant, Credit) at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, where they worked from September 2003 to February 2004. Overall, Jens Deidersen brings a wealth of experience in infrastructure and export finance, financial modelling, investment management, and risk management.

Jens Deidersen, CFA, PRM, holds a degree in Business Engineering (Diplom) from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), which they obtained from 1998 to 2003. Jens also holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Environmental Science from FernUniversität in Hagen, completed from 2009 to 2015. Jens Deidersen has received the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in 2008. Additionally, they completed their secondary education at the German School Paris, France, where they obtained their Abitur from 1994 to 1997. Jens Deidersen attended the German School Athens, Greece, from 1990 to 1994, and the German School Manila, The Philippines, from 1986 to 1990. Jens has obtained various additional certifications, including Professional Risk Manager (PRM) and finance-related certifications from Redcliffe Training and the PRMIA.
