Carol Jennings

Carol Jennings is an experienced administrative professional currently serving as an Executive Assistant at the DeKalb County Solicitor-General's Office since October 2018. Previously, Carol worked as an Administrative Specialist at UGA Extension-DeKalb, where responsibilities included managing payroll and personnel processing, processing reimbursements, and assisting with departmental budgets. Between June 2003 and September 2017, Carol held the position of Judicial Case Manager-Senior at DeKalb County Superior Court, managing felony criminal and civil matters and coordinating communication with various legal offices. Carol possesses strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and multiple legal and financial software systems, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills and adaptability in diverse environments. Carol attended Georgia State University Perimeter College from 2002 to 2003.

The Office of the DeKalb County Solicitor-General, under the direction of Solicitor-General Donna Coleman-Stribling, prosecutes more than 13,000 misdemeanor crimes committed in DeKalb County each year. These cases include domestic violence, elder abuse, cruelty to children, vehicular homicide, drunk driving, harassment and stalking, trespassing and animal cruelty.
