Caio Gomes

Caio Gomes is an experienced educator currently serving as a Middle School ESL Teacher at DeKalb CUSD428, where responsibilities include developing ESL curricula and collaborating with colleagues to enhance student learning. Previously, Caio has held various teaching positions, including Bilingual Head Teacher at Huntley Middle School and ESL Teacher at Escola Beit Yaacov. Caio has a strong background in supporting English Language Learners across multiple educational settings and has utilized diverse instructional strategies throughout a career that spans over a decade. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in English and Portuguese Language & Literature, a Licentiate degree in English, and ongoing pursuit of a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Instructional Technology from Northern Illinois University.
