Rita Elliott

Rita Elliott is an experienced communications professional with a career spanning over two decades in various educational and financial institutions. Currently serving as the District Communications Manager for DeKalb School District #428 since September 2022, Rita previously held the position of Senior Director of Communications at Elgin Community College from August 2020 to September 2022. Rita's background includes roles such as Director of Marketing and Communications/PIO and Director of Communications at Rockford University from February 2011 to June 2020, as well as Communications Manager at AMCORE Bank (now Harris, N.A.) from December 2005 to August 2010. Rita also served as Director of Communications at Rockford College from August 2000 to December 2005 and worked as a Public Relations Specialist at Fremont Area Medical Center in 1996.
