Chuck Hanson

Chuck oversees and directs the structural engineering group. He is well versed in the unique and challenging engineering aspects of design, growing up surrounded by the design and architecture industry, and working with a leading A/E firm after college. The experience allowed him to work on creative, inspiring projects that emphasized the importance of collaboration.

Now a principal at Dekker/Perich/Sabatini, Chuck continues to collaborate, working with the design team from the early phases through completion of construction documents. “Because effective designs rely simultaneously on structural engineering and architecture, he touch most of the projects very early on with the goal of a simple, unified design that is both economical and satisfying to all the clients,” he said.

Chuck’s extensive experience with seismic evaluation and design and his collaborative approach result in solutions that work for everyone involved.
