Christian Koehn

Christian Koehn, LL.M. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal field. Christian currently holds the position of Group General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer/Executive Vice President (EVP)/Rechtsanwalt at DEKRA since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as Deputy General Counsel (Rechtsanwalt/Syndikusrechtsanwalt) at DEKRA from January 2022 to March 2022.

Before joining DEKRA, they worked as the Director Legal Services at robert bosch from April 2019 to December 2021. From May 2017 to March 2019, they were the Head of legal and tax department (Bereichsleiter Recht & Steuern) at IHK Region Stuttgart. Christian also has experience as the General Counsel (Leiter Recht und Compliance) at K - Mail Order GmbH & Co. KG from September 2013 to April 2017.

Prior to that, Christian Koehn worked at DEKRA SE as the Senior Legal Counsel (Leiter im Bereich Recht & Compliance) from September 2006 to August 2013, where they specialized in legal risk management, international M&A transactions, commercial and competition law, and cross-cultural negotiations. Christian also has experience as a Legal Counsel (Syndikusrechtsanwalt) at AUDI AG from January 2005 to August 2006, primarily dealing with products liability litigation and commercial law matters in the automotive industry.

Christian Koehn, LL.M. pursued their higher education starting in 1998 at the University of Konstanz, where they obtained a Magister juris degree in Law in 2003. In 2000, they attended the Alliance Manchester Business School for a year, focusing on the School of Law. Later on, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued a Master of Law (LLM) degree in the field of Mergers & Acquisitions at the University of Münster.
