Dr. Sebastian Sigle is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and strategic development across various sectors. Currently serving as a member of the executive board at DEKRA since January 2016, Dr. Sigle oversees the Industrial, Construction, and Real Estate divisions. Previous roles include leading controlling and process management at UPDOWN Ingenieurteam für Fördertechnik GmbH and managing international business development at DEKRA Industrial GmbH. Dr. Sigle’s background in consulting with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants highlights expertise in retail and consumer goods, complemented by academic contributions as a postdoctoral researcher at EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht. Dr. Sigle holds a PhD in Strategic Marketing and a Diplom Kaufmann in International Marketing, with international studies completed in the United States and Argentina.
