Carlos Avalos has held various roles in the field of maintenance, operations, transportation, and facilities at multiple school districts before joining Del Mar Union School District as the Director of Maintenance, Operations, and Facilities. With a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from the University of La Verne and an Associates in Business Administration from Cerritos College, Carlos also completed the CASH Maintenance Management Certificate Program in 2019. Prior to their current role, Carlos worked at Magnolia School District, Lennox School District, Hesperia Unified School District, and LLCSD in positions related to facilities, purchasing, and operations. Carlos also has experience as a Tech Aide II at the City of Maywood.
