leneal Scott

Leneal Scott has extensive experience in the IT industry, having worked for various companies throughout their career. leneal started working at the U.S. House of Representatives in 1995 as an IT Systems Manager and stayed there for 16 years. At the House of Representatives, they supported 80+ users, ensured the maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware and software, and trained employees on MS Office products, email, and the Internet. leneal also played an instrumental role in getting the Full Committee and Subcommittee Hearing rooms upgraded for the Oversight & Government Reform Committee.

After leaving the House of Representatives, Leneal worked as an IT contractor at Savvis for two years before joining the NIH as a Senior Systems/Business Analyst. leneal supported the NIH Executive Office of the Director (EOD) in all information technology needs and resources, provided technical support as needed in various operating systems, negotiated requirements with all levels of management, acquired agreement between business members, vendors and the core team for project deliverables, and lead initiatives to improve processes in business, organizational, and operational areas.

Leneal was later promoted to Senior IT Specialist at the NIH Office of the Director, where they worked for a year and a half. leneal then went on to work as Senior IT Specialist at Delaney Advantage Technologies, LLC, where they currently work. Overall, Leneal has a strong background in IT project management, technical support, and process improvement.

From 2016 to 2020, Leneal Scott attended the University of Maryland Global Campus, where they earned a degree in Computer Networks & Security. There is no other educational experience provided.
