Jamie Sheahan serves as a Social Studies Teacher at DeLaSalle High School in Minneapolis since July 2024, following a comprehensive career in education that includes roles such as Education Coordinator and Digital Curriculum Project Lead at Northeast Metro 916 Intermediate School District from 2017 to 2024. This experience involved interpreting transcripts, facilitating intake meetings, supporting college and career searches, and collaborating with educational teams to enhance curriculum. Prior experience includes teaching social studies at Minneapolis Public Schools and Northeast Metro 916, as well as various roles in school settings, including long-term substitutes, a softball coach, and a yearbook adviser. Jamie Sheahan holds an Educational Specialist degree in PK-12 Principal Licensure and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University-St. Paul, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies Education and Geography from St. Cloud State University.
