Umadevi Garimella

Umadevi Garimella serves as the Dean of STEM at Delaware County Community College since January 2022, providing academic and administrative oversight while driving strategic planning and curriculum development to support student success. Concurrently, Umadevi has been an AP Biology Consultant for the College Board since January 2010, conducting professional development sessions for educators. Previously, Umadevi directed the UCA STEM Institute at the University of Central Arkansas from July 2008 to January 2022, focusing on innovative STEM educational opportunities and partnerships. Umadevi holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Phytochemistry from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Tennessee Technological University.
