Colleen Duran

Colleen Duran currently serves as the Executive Director of the Delaware County Literacy Council since 2023. Previous experience includes the role of Account Executive at AH & Association Headquarters from 2022 to 2023, and Community Relations at the Gift of Life Donor Program from 2018 to 2022. Colleen also worked as a Peace Educator at The Peace Center from 2017 to 2019 and held dual roles as an EFL Technical Trainer and EFL Instructor with the Peace Corps from 2015 to 2017. Earlier positions include Manager of Student Transition Programs and Program Coordinator at Literacy Pittsburgh from 2004 to 2015, and Literacy Tutor during service with AmeriCorps from 2003 to 2004. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from Carlow University and a Master of Public Administration from Rutgers University - Camden, where Colleen was a Coverdell Fellowship Recipient.
