Mike Maksymow has a diverse work experience encompassing various roles in the healthcare and cybersecurity sectors. Mike began their career in 2013 as the Vice President & Chief Information Officer at Beebe Healthcare, where they currently hold the position. In addition to their role at Beebe Healthcare, Mike has served as the Chair of the Delaware Healthcare Cyber Security Alliance since November 2016. Mike has also been a member of the Sensato Cybersecurity Solutions - Security Advisory Council since February 2017.

Outside of the healthcare industry, Mike has served as the Chair of the Sussex County STEM Alliance since January 2017. Mike has also been a Board Member of the Delaware Foundation for Science & Mathematics Education since October 2016.

Furthermore, Mike has been involved in various advisory roles and committees. Mike is a member of the Medical Device Cybersecurity Task Force, the Association for Executives in Healthcare Information Security (AEHIS), and the Commonwell Advisory Board. Mike has also served as a member of the Cape Henlopen High School - Career and Technology Education Advisory Committee, the Delaware Technical & Community College - Computer Technology Advisory Board, and the Delaware Health Information Network - CIO Advisory Board.

Mike Maksymow's education history begins with their Bachelor of Science in Commerce degree in Finance from Rider University, which they obtained from 1983 to 1987. Mike then pursued further education and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix, studying from 2004 to 2009. In 2014, they attended the CHIME CIO Boot Camp for professional development.

In addition to their academic achievements, Mike Maksymow has obtained several certifications. Mike became a Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO) through CHIME in November 2014. In October 2016, they received the fellowship (FCHIME) from CHIME.
