Dela Muhlenberg

Dela Muhlenberg is an experienced educator with a background in special education and teaching. Currently serving as a Museum Educator at the Delaware Museum of Nature & Science since May 2022, Dela interprets exhibits and instructs school groups. Previous experience includes volunteering as a cello instructor at Melody Program Music School of Delaware from 2019 to 2022, assisting in swimming instruction at Wilmington Friends School in 2018-2019, and working as a private coach for students with ADHD from 2002 to 2014. Dela also held the position of Learning Disabilities Coordinator at the University of Delaware from 1996 to 2002, focusing on academic strategies for students with disabilities. Dela holds a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and a Master's degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania.
