Rick Desrosiers

Rick Desrosiers has over 30 years of experience in information technology. Rick started their career in the United States Air Force as a Crew Chief before transitioning to civilian roles. Rick has held various leadership positions in companies such as CSS Group, Cache Box, USAA, ING Direct (now Capital One), Capital One, Dover Downs Hotel & Casino, and Delaware Park Casino and Racing.

In their most recent role as the Executive Director of Information Technology at Delaware Park Casino and Racing, Rick was responsible for managing the entire IT department. Rick handled hiring, training, and development of staff while also ensuring compliance with budgetary and risk management measures. Additionally, they provided support for hardware and software systems.

Prior to this, Rick served as the Director of Information Systems at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino, where they oversaw technology operations and developed plans to align with company objectives. Rick also ensured system availability for major events like NASCAR races.

Rick's previous experience includes working as an Information Technology Manager at Capital One, where they focused on monitoring the end-user experience and managing enterprise-wide reporting to senior leadership. At ING Direct, they were a Team Leader responsible for IT capacity, continuity, and network services.

Before joining the corporate world, Rick worked as a System Analyst II at USAA, supporting multiple offices nationwide and implementing server and network configurations.

Rick's early experience includes serving as a Lead POS Systems Integration Engineer at Cache Box and working as a Network Technician at CSS Group.

Rick Desrosiers completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from Northeastern University from 2009 to 2012. Rick later obtained a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University between 2018 and 2019. In 2023, Rick pursued further education and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from West Virginia University. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft.
