Lashawne Pryor

LaShawne Pryor, Ed.D has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of development and fundraising. LaShawne currently holds the position of Associate Vice President of Development at Delaware State University, where they provide strategic vision for a group of professionals and supports the Aviation program. Prior to this role, they served as the Assistant Vice President of Development, where they led the strategic planning committee and supported the financial committee. LaShawne also held the position of Director of Major Gifts, where they expanded the university's brand presence and guided the execution of HBCU Philanthropy Symposium. Additionally, they served as the Director of Corporate Foundation Relations and Director of Annual Giving, where they focused on growing the donor portfolio and implementing annual giving plans. LaShawne Pryor also worked as a Development Manager at Metropolitan Career Center, where they successfully deployed fundraising strategies and led a team in organizing annual events.
