Caitlin Schonewolf, MD, MS has a diverse work experience. In 2013, they began their career as an Internal Medicine Intern at the University of Pennsylvania, and later became a Radiation Oncology Resident. In 2018, they joined the University of Michigan as an Assistant Professor in Radiation Oncology, specializing in the treatment of head and neck cancer and lung cancer. Caitlin also served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor and a Clinical Trials Academy Fellow at the same institution. In 2022, they worked as a Medical Director at GRAIL before transitioning to the same role at Delfi Diagnostics in 2023. Caitlin has also participated in workshops such as the Methods in Clinical Cancer Research (MCCR) Workshop organized by ESMO in 2018. Their research focuses on improving outcomes and reducing toxicity from radiation therapy in the aforementioned diseases.

Caitlin Schonewolf, MD, MS completed their Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology at Princeton University from 2002 to 2006. Following this, they pursued a Post baccalaureate program at the University of Pennsylvania from 2006 to 2008. Caitlin then attended Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) from 2008 to 2013. During their time at Rutgers, they also pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Clinical and Translational Science at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey from 2011 to 2012.

In terms of additional certifications, Caitlin obtained their MD License from the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services in September 2018. Caitlin also acquired certification in Radiation Oncology from the American Board of Radiology in May 2019.
