Timothy McDaniel

Timothy McDaniel is an accomplished professional in the field of technology development and molecular diagnostics, currently serving as Vice President of Technology Development at Delfi Diagnostics and as Director of the Scientific Advisory Board at Deepcell, Inc. Experience includes a significant role at TGen - an Affiliate of City of Hope, where oversight of the clinical laboratory, Ashion Analytics, took place until its acquisition by Exact Sciences in 2021. Prior positions include contributions at Illumina, where Timothy led the establishment of the R&D Departments for both the Oncology Business and the Translational and Consumer Genomics Business, and played a key role in launching over 25 products. Timothy's academic background includes a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine.
