Brian Hilburn

Brian Hilburn serves as a Principal Consultant at the Center for Human Performance Research since 2003 and holds several prestigious positions, including Senior Research Fellow at the Air Traffic Management Research Institute, Senior Principal Human Factors Expert at MITRE, Guest Researcher at Delft University of Technology, and Visiting Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Additionally, Brian is the VP of Research & Development at EIT, Inc. and previously served as Department Head of Human Factors at NLR - Netherlands Aerospace Centre from 1998 to 2003. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Applied Experimental Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Human Factors Engineering from The Catholic University of America, complemented by a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Grinnell College and a high school diploma from Gonzaga College High School.
