Osman Semih Kayhan

Osman Semih Kayhan is a highly experienced professional specializing in deep learning and computer vision, currently serving as the Technical Data and AI Lead at HagaZiekenhuis since June 2024 and as a Guest Researcher at Delft University of Technology since October 2022. With a comprehensive background in AI for video cameras and model development from a tenure as a Senior Deep Learning Specialist at Bosch Security Systems B.V. from February 2021 to May 2024, Osman has also contributed to academia through supervision of students, teaching advanced courses, and co-organizing workshops such as “Visual Inductive Priors for Data-Efficient Deep Learning.” Osman holds a PhD from Delft University of Technology, a Master's in Biomedical Engineering, and a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering, complemented by a brief stint as a Project Engineer focusing on reliability analysis of electronic circuits.
