Can Özkan

Can Özkan is a Junior Research Scientist at Technische Universiteit Delft, actively involved in the VIPCOAT project, which aims to develop an open innovation platform for protective coating materials in various industries. Prior experience includes working as a Materials Scientist at RGS Development b.v., focusing on silicon alloys for energy applications, and serving as a Graduate Student Teaching Assistant at Technische Universiteit Delft, where lectures were delivered on materials science concepts. Additionally, Can contributed as an Interdisciplinary Materials Researcher at Axxiflex Holding BV, participating in a project aimed at enhancing the small satellite value chain. Can Özkan holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Delft University of Technology and previously earned an MSc in the same field, along with a BSc in Civil Engineering from Boğaziçi University. Educational experiences also include participation in the Erasmus Programme at Politecnico di Milano.
