Hans Welleman

Hans Welleman is a highly experienced educator and researcher in the field of civil engineering, currently serving as the Director of Education at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences at TU Delft since 2000. In addition to administrative responsibilities, Welleman teaches structural mechanics and has held the position of Director of BSc and MSc studies in Civil Engineering since March 2013. Prior to joining TU Delft, Welleman worked as a lecturer at Hogeschool Haarlem from 1996 to 2000, focusing on structural mechanics, concrete structures, bridges, tunnels, and foundation techniques. Welleman's research background at TU Delft from 1990 to 1996 includes specialization in dynamic loadings on reinforced concrete structures and software development for the discrete element program TILLY. Welleman holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology and a BSc in Civil Engineering from Hanze.
