Himanshu Verma is an Assistant Professor at Technische Universiteit Delft since December 2020, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction, Autonomous Vehicles, and AV-Pedestrian Interaction. Prior to this role, Himanshu held a position as a Scientific Collaborator at EPFL from March 2019 to December 2020 and served as a Postdoctoral Scientist at HES-SO Valais-Wallis from November 2018 to December 2020, focusing on similar research areas. Himanshu was a Senior Researcher at the University of Fribourg from November 2015 to October 2018, with expertise in Human-Building Interaction, Proxemics, and Human-Artifact Interaction. Earlier experience includes work as an Assistant Doctorant at EPFL from September 2010 to August 2015, researching human-artifact interactions in group settings. Himanshu Verma holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from EPFL, an M.Tech in Human-Computer Interaction from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad, and a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya.
