Christine Blauvelt

Christine Blauvelt is an accomplished medical professional specializing in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at UCSF Health since September 2025. Prior to this role, Christine completed a Clinical Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco from June 2022 to September 2025, and served as a Resident Physician in Obstetrics & Gynecology at UCSF Health from May 2018 to June 2022. Additionally, Christine co-founded and served on the board of Duma Works from October 2011 to 2016, and contributed to Public Health Solutions as an intern in summer 2010, focusing on health program evaluations and women's health awareness. Early volunteer experience includes a medical role with Projects Abroad in 2009, where responsibilities included administering vaccines and providing trauma care. Christine earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine (2014-2018) and holds an A.B. in Anthropology from Princeton University (2008-2012).
