Joris Sijs is currently a System Architect at Avular, responsible for designing robotic products. With a background in research and fundamental work in estimation and control theory, Joris has also held positions at TU Delft, TNO Technical Sciences, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, and Eindhoven University of Technology. Their extensive experience includes team-leading development programs, supervising PhD students, and conducting fundamental research in various areas related to their field of expertise.
