Mark van Koningsveld

Mark van Koningsveld serves as Program Director of Vox Innovation at Van Oord since September 2008, with prior roles including Manager of R&D Engineering and Lead Engineer in both Environmental Engineering and the OpenEarth Cluster. Concurrently, Mark holds the position of Professor in Ports & Waterways at Technische Universiteit Delft since March 2018 and has been involved with the Topsector Water & Maritiem since January 2020 as Captain of Science. Mark's previous roles include Secretary of the Topteam Water & Maritiem and Management Team Member at EcoShape. Earlier experience includes senior research positions at Deltares and the Netherlands Centre for Coastal Research. Mark earned a PhD in Civil Engineering and a Master's in Integrated Modelling from the University of Twente, complementing formal education at INSEAD.
