Umar Rahman has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of auditing and financial controls. Umar is currently the Head of Group Internal Financial Controls at Delinian (formerly Euromoney), where they are responsible for implementing a group-wide Internal Controls Programme and providing training sessions on controls and risk management. Prior to this role, Umar worked as an Internal Audit Manager at Euromoney Institutional Investor, where they played an active role in establishing and embedding an in-house Audit function. Umar also worked as an Internal Audit Manager at Balfour Beatty, overseeing audits of high profile projects and contributing to the development of risk-based audit plans. Umar's previous experiences include working as an Internal Auditor at British Airways, where they conducted operational and financial audits, and as an Audit Manager at Deloitte UK, where they managed audits across various sectors and mentored and managed teams. Umar also had roles as an Audit Senior at the National Audit Office and Buzzacott earlier in their career.

Umar Rahman completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics at UCL from 2001 to 2004. Umar then pursued a Master of Science degree in Politics of the World Economy at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2004 to 2005.
