Lauren Kurczewski Ampat has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations and roles. Starting in 2007, they worked as a 9th-grade social studies teacher for Fulton County Schools until 2009. Lauren then served as the Assistant to the State Superintendent at the Georgia Department of Education from August 2009 to July 2010. Following that, from August 2010 to July 2016, they held the position of Director of Strategy, Knowledge, and Innovation at the U.S. Education Delivery Institute. In 2016, they became the Director of Strategic Programs at Teach For America until March 2017. From March 2017 to July 2018, they worked as the Lead for Strategic Planning and Continuous Improvement at Fulton County Schools. Lauren then joined Delivery Associates as the Communications and Knowledge Leader from July 2018 to June 2020. Subsequently, they served as the Head of Delivery from July 2020 to December 2021 and currently holds the position of Head of Knowledge since January 2022.

Lauren Kurczewski Ampat has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Latin American Studies from Tulane University. Additionally, Lauren obtained a Master's degree in Public Policy from American University.
