Ken Wante

Ken Wante has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Ken began their career as a SW Engineer at Data General in 1987. Ken then worked as a SW Principal Engineer at Codex from 1988 to 1991, before transitioning to a Principal Engineer role at Xyplex for a brief period. Ken was subsequently employed as a Member of Technical Staff at Motorola from 1991 to 1999. During this time, they gained experience in networking protocols and load-balancing/clustering solutions.

In 1999, Ken joined Altiga Networks as a Principal Engineer, where they played a crucial role in the development of VPN remote access products. Altiga Networks was later acquired by Cisco Systems in 2000. At Cisco Systems, Ken served as a Technical Leader from 2000 to 2006. In this role, they were responsible for the design and implementation of slow/fast path VPN/IPSec and Layer-2 Transparent Firewall on Cisco's ASA security appliance.

Following their time at Cisco Systems, Ken worked as a Principal Engineer at BigBand from 2006 to 2008. Here, they led the development of a new media services platform. Ken then joined Blue Cedar Networks in 2012 as a Director and Contributor, where they contributed until 2018.

Most recently, Ken assumed the position of Vice President of Engineering at Dellfer, Inc. in 2018. In this role, they are responsible for leading Dellfer's product delivery. Overall, Ken has accumulated extensive experience in engineering leadership, system architecture, product development, and technical team management.

Ken Wante attended Northeastern University from 1980 to 1985 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
