Brian McCarthy is a Principal in Deloitte’s Consumer Strategy practice, specializing in helping retailers and consumer-facing companies drive profitable growth through business modernization and operating model transformation. With over 15 years of experience across the retail value chain, Brian partners with C-suite executives to tackle core challenges in merchandising, supply chain, and store operations. They currently serve as a guest lecturer at NYU Stern School of Business and have previously held roles at Steve & Barry's and Deloitte Consulting. Brian earned an MBA with distinction from NYU’s Stern School of Business and a dual-BA in Economics and Film Studies from Dartmouth College. Outside of their professional pursuits, they enjoy coaching their children’s basketball and baseball teams.
