David McCarthy

David McCarthy is the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Sponsor of Climate & Sustainability at Deloitte Australia, where they focus on climate transformation solutions. With a career dedicated to advising companies, investors, and governments on financial restructuring and transactions, David previously served as Managing Partner of Deloitte's national Strategy, Risk & Transactions practice, leading a team of 2,300. David also held leadership positions as Managing Partner of Financial Advisory and Asia Pacific Leader of Restructuring Services at Deloitte. They earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Technology Sydney.
