Garrett Smith

Garrett Smith is a Partner at Deloitte, leading the Orange County Life Sciences and Health Care Practice with over 22 years of experience focused on public companies. Previously, Garrett served in the Accounting and Auditing Research Department of Deloitte’s National Office, where they acted as a technical resource and advisor to the AICPA Auditing Standards Board. Garrett specializes in guiding mature and emerging public companies through the IPO process and is currently working with clients to ensure compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act. Garrett holds a BS in Accounting from Brigham Young University and dual master's degrees in Information Management and Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
