Egya Appiah

Egya Appiah is currently the Assistant General Counsel at Deloitte, where they provide business-minded legal support across various departments and lead negotiations on client service agreements. They previously worked at notable firms including Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, and Morrison & Foerster LLP, specializing in technology transactions and intellectual property. Egya has also held in-house roles at Hearst Corporation and Sesame Workshop, negotiating numerous commercial agreements. An advocate for diversity, they were nominated as a Fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity in 2022 and contributed to initiatives promoting Deloitte's shared values. Egya earned a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.A. in Political Science from Stanford University.
