Joel Ryerson is a Partner at Deloitte and the Phoenix Real Estate Leader, bringing over twelve years of experience in the real estate industry. They have served various clients, including traded and non-traded REITs, public home builders, and private companies, focusing on both historical cost and fair value reporting. In addition to leading audits for major real estate clients, Joel has experience with initial public offerings, SOX implementations, mergers and acquisitions, and complex accounting matters. Joel holds a Master of Accountancy from the University of Iowa Graduate School and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Iowa's Henry B. Tippie College of Business.
