Peter Tripe

Peter Tripe is a Director at Deloitte & Touche, leading the Actuarial & Insurance Solutions practice, one of Africa's largest actuarial consultancies. With over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, they have served as the Head of Actuarial Function and Appointed Actuary for various insurers across Africa, specializing in IFRS17, EV, auditing, and M&A. Peter began their career as a Valuations Actuary at Norwich Life and continued in similar roles at Metropolitan Life before joining Deloitte in 2002. They hold a BCom (Hons) in Actuarial Science and an MSc in Physics from the University of Cape Town.
