Brian Patterson

Brian Patterson is an experienced professional in tax risk management, currently serving as a Principal at Deloitte Australia since 2010. Brian transitioned into risk management after involvement in a significant professional negligence case in the mid-1990s, which remains one of the longest and most costly in Australian history. Brian is currently on a career break following retirement from Deloitte in March 2017, with plans to pursue part-time consulting upon returning from Italy in July 2017. Brian holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with majors in Economics, Accounting, and Commercial Law from the University of Melbourne, earned between 1974 and 1977.
