Elizabeth Gutteridge leads Deloitte’s Disputes practice globally. She has been appointed as an expert witness on many occasions and has given oral evidence in the High Court, the Court of Session in Scotland, the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands and oral testimony by deposition in the Superior Court of Connecticut, as well as in the context of international arbitration and private mediation. She has extensive experience in quantifying damages in a range of different contexts and regularly undertakes accounting and factual investigations.

Increasingly, the complexity of the matters at stake sees Elizabeth’s team’s quantum expertise paired with other technical disciplines and so her team is used to working in conjunction with other experts. Elizabeth is the forensic lead for Deloitte’s Financial Services Disputes team and has a particular skill in combining effectively Forensic know-how with industry and technical expertise, in order to deliver multi-disciplinary teams of sector and technical experts.

Elizabeth has been recognised by Who’s Who Legal as one of the world’s leading commercial arbitration expert witnesses as “consistently and undeniably impressive.”
