Daniel Caruana is an experienced tax professional currently serving as the Chairman of the Domestic & Compliance Sub-Committee at the Malta Institute of Taxation since May 2023. With a longstanding career at Deloitte beginning in July 2007, Daniel has held various key positions including Director, Corporate Tax Compliance Leader, Tax Compliance Senior Manager, Tax Manager, and Tax Compliance Practitioner. Additionally, Daniel contributed to the academic field as a lecturer at both AIM Professional Academy Malta and the Malta Institute of Taxation from September 2013 to June 2016. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Malta.
