Joanna Desjardins

Joanna Desjardins is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corporate development and business management within the energy sector. Currently serving as a Manager at Deloitte since June 2021, Joanna previously held the position of Sr. Specialist in Corporate Development at Cenovus Energy, where key achievements included leading a $650 million asset disposition and managing numerous cross-functional teams. Prior to that, Joanna spent a decade at ConocoPhillips, contributing to significant industry transactions and leading various strategic projects across multiple engineering roles. Joanna also chaired the 2013 WPC Youth Forum, overseeing a large team at the World Petroleum Congress. Educational credentials include an MBA with a focus in Finance from the Haskayne School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary.
